A member of ASCAP since 2002, I've been affiliated with the Harry Fox Agency, SoundExchange, and Music Reports. I'm currently affiliated with Songtrust for worldwide mechanical and publishing administration, and have more than 1900 titles in my catalog.
I've published the Ambient Rushton Podcast since 2004, which regularly profiles my recordings.
I'm also a fine artist, creating original paintings using acrylic ink and acrylic paint. Many of these are abstract or in an abstract landscape style. Examples of my work are available in my eBay store.
My day job is as a Senior Software Test Analyst for Pearson Education in Iowa City. I'm a member and regular attendee of the Des Moines Atlassian User Group, and a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis including the Central Iowa chapter.
I also produce and narrate the Software Lifecycle Podcast, a short audio program detailing humorous and historical aspects of how software is built.
