Flow by Mark Rushton
Flow is an album of drifting and wandering ambient electronica music infused with various field recordings.
Following the completion of the Mark Rushton and Jon Harnish album, Rushton wanted to create another recording based on cohesive, related keyboard loops sourced from improvisational playing while being recorded.
Rushton describes Flow as “minimal, but with a touch of nervousness throughout” and he thinks fans of Loscil and perhaps Harold Budd “might see something worthwhile in it.”
Flow was recorded and assembled at East Highlands Studio in Cedar Rapids by Mark Rushton and completed at The Bunker in Iowa City.
