Ambient Matyk is an album of sparse and moody electronic music recorded live and outdoors.

Mark Rushton and Jon Harnish recorded it in two sessions, July 26th and August 2nd of 2009, behind the Matyk Building in the flood-damaged New Bohemia neighborhood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Ambient Matyk features no overdubs or any kind of post-production other than beginning and ending edits.

There will eventually be additional writings concerning the creation of the Ambient Matyk album.
